The Wine Cellar: A Wine Tasting Experience presented by Harrah’s of Northern California
Taste your way through the Lodi Wine Country at the Lodi Grape Festival! Located inside the Ole Mettler Grape Pavilion, nine local wineries will be pouring some of their fine wine for you to sample. From peppery Zinfandels, which the Lodi area is known for, to floral Pinot Grigios, there will be a great variety and you may find a wine you haven’t tasted before.
There are four sessions for tasting: Friday, September 16 from 6:00-8:30 p.m.; Saturday, September 17 from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 6:00-8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, September 18 from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. On Friday and Saturday there will be commercial wineries pouring; on Sunday you can taste the talent that some of our local winemakers have.
The cost for 10 tastes is only $20 on Friday and Saturday and only $15 on Sunday, and includes a commemorative wine glass. And if you would like a full glass of wine after the tasting has ended please visit the Van Ruiten Family Winery wine booth located in the middle of the Pavilion.
