Netflix could be easily argued as one of the best streaming services around. They offer TONS of movies, TV shows, documentaries, and so much more. But of course, they want more of our money. In a recent report that came out this morning: if you’re paying $9.99 now, it will $10.99 soon. Premium service will go from $11.99 to $13.99. A silver lining to this new, if you have the basic plan of $7.99 that will not be changing. Subscribers to Netflix will be receiving an email later the month, giving more detail about the new prices. The report also says the new prices will come into affect in November.

Now why are they uping our prices? If you didn’t know already, Netflix is throwing around DUMB money to all sorts of original content. Supposedly they payed Jerry Seinfeld $100 million to do his special…THAT’S INSANE! Other comedians have made similar deals like Dave Chappelle & Ellen DeGeneres with Netflix. Plus all the new shows have expensive budgets and so on.

We’ll keep paying the price because I mean who doesn’t wanna watch Moana for 50th time or the whole Friends series again. It’s a #firstworldproblem but still a little annoying
