Michael Franti Hosting San Francisco Festival in September

Michael Franti will lend star power to a music festival in San Francisco this September. He will host the 12th Annual Power to the Peaceful Festival at Golden Gate Park on September 11th. The three-day festival actually begins the night before, when Franti will play an acoustic set featuring songs from his new CD, The Sound of Sunshine. On September 11th, he’ll perform with Spearhead.  Franti will participate in a yoga workshop on the festival’s final day. The Sound of Sunshine drops on September 21st.
