Here are the last two Stupid Stories

Police arrested Justin Johnson from Indiana for forgery after he tried to cash a check for $1 million last week at a bank's drive-thru window.  Even though the teller said she couldn't cash the check because it was phony, Johnson still gave up his driver's license, so she could make a copy of it.  That made it pretty easy for officers to track down Johnson at his home and haul him off to jail.

A driver in Minnesota had some dog-gone good luck when his puppy crashed into a liquor store.  Richard Coerber, 72 years old, was driving when his dachshund puppy fell to the floor and got stuck on the gas pedal, causing the vehicle to accelerate and ram into a liquor store.  Amazingly, no one -- including the pooch -- was hurt and neither the car nor the store suffered any serious damage.
